A place made by, and for, this corner of Cornwall
We are a small, sustainable burial ground on the edge of the Lynher Valley, with a simple aim: to offer a beautiful, natural place to be laid to rest, and to look after it for generations.
The land has been in the same family since long before any of us, grazed and hedged and walked for centuries.
When we began to think about its future, a natural burial ground felt right — a way to keep the meadow open and wild, while giving local families somewhere gentle and lasting to return to.
There are no rows of headstones here, no manicured lawns. Instead there is long grass, birdsong, native trees, and the quiet of the valley. We think of it less as a cemetery and more as a meadow that happens to hold memories.
